About Sherrelyn E. Rosenberger, DMD
Dr. Ewell received her Bachelor's degree and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Washington University here in St. Louis. She served for nine years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps Reserves, where she served at Ft. Irwin, Ca; Ft. Carson, CO; Ft. Lewis, WA; and here in St. Louis at Jefferson Barracks. In St. Louis, she met and married Dr. Rosenberger. They founded Woodland Dental Care in 1990. Dr. Ewell currently wokrs two days a week at Woodland Dental Care and two days a week for the Gateway to Oral Health program. Gateway is a service organization that brings dental equipment and servies to medicaid eligible children in their schools. Dr. Ewell finds the work with these children both enjoyable and rewarding. In many cases, these are the only dental services they receive. Dr. Ewell and Dr. Rosenberger have two daughters, Angelyn and Lauralyn. Angelyn graduated from Truman State University in 2014 and is currently a second year dental student at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentsitry. Lauralyn is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin Madison and will graduate in 2017 Dr. Ewell has been an active member of the National Dental Association. Dr. Ewell's hobbies include piano and the love and care of her dog and cat, Ginger and Pepper. She is also passionate about TaeKwonDo. Dr. Ewell earned her taekwondo first degree black belt in 2015 and is currently working toward her seocnd degree black belt. She is also a very active member of Florissant Presbyterian church.
