About Shaun P. Gardner, DDS
Dr. Gardner knows that your smile is as your greatest asset and his dream is to help you make a great first impression with your bright smile. Patient education is rooted in Dr. Gardner’s philosophy because he knows that the more you learn about your teeth, the better you will be able to take care of them. He also takes the time to work out a unique and cost-effective treatment plan for each patient. Using state of the art equipment and the most current techniques available to perform all aspects of dental care, Dr. Gardner and his team do their best to make your visit comfortable, positive and pleasant. From a simple filling to complete smile makeovers, Dr. Gardner is acutely aware of your comfort during all dental treatments and strives to accommodate everyone and their unique needs. He goes to great lengths to make all procedures gentle and painless and will always be your emergency dentist. In 1995 Dr. Gardner received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in Medical Biology, then proceeded to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1999. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry is the number one dental school in the nation and the number two dental school in the world, priding themselves for their outstanding standard of excellence and the innovative research they put into the dentistry community. Since graduation, Dr. Gardner has trained extensively in cosmetic procedures, IV sedation, root canal therapy, dental implants, laser gum therapy, orthodontics, Invisalign and Cerec one visit crown restorations. Dr. Gardner did his training in IV and oral sedation at the University of Southern California and is part of an elite group of dentists to hold an IV sedation permit in the state of Arizona. He is also one of only 600 dentists nationally who have trained at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry in San Jose, California and is licensed to perform Laser Periodontal Therapy.
