About Sharon Stern, DDS

Born and raised in New York, Dr. Sharon Stern graduated from Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1988. After moving across the river to New Jersey, she worked for Mobile Dental Care- providing full dentistry to hospital and homebound patients throughout New Jersey. In 1991 Dr. Stern established Gentle Dental Care in Hoboken, and has been taking care of families in the tristate area ever since. Dr. Sterns dream of creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere has been realized here at 710 Washington Street. I wanted to foster the type of pleasant and professional office where the staff genuinely likes each other and our patients; and to prove that modern dentistry can be quite gentle. Our state-of-the-art facilities and careful attention to infection control and sterilization allows us to provide top-notch care in a comfortable setting. To provide the best possible care to her patients, Dr. Stern is dedicated to the philosophy of continuing education. It is imperative that health care providers keep current with the new technologies available, and to hone existing knowledge and skills. She has received certificates for advanced training in Periodontal Surgery from Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as Full Mouth Rehabilitation from NYU. Dr. Stern has taken numerous courses throughout her career, including porcelain veneers, lumineers, orthodontics, restylane dermal fillers, occlusion, rotary endodontics, and cosmetic bonding. She is also Invisalign certified. Through continuing education and state of the art equipment, we are able to provide you and your family the high level of care you are looking for.
