About Shari A. Witkoff, DMD
Dr. Witkoff, born and raised in Miami, is a general dentist with more than 20 years clinical experience. A graduate of the College Dentistry at the University of Florida, Dr. Witkoff went on to complete a post-doctoral residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland before returning to south Florida to enter private practice. Dr. Witkoff has since completed advanced training in aesthetics, periodontics, endodontics, bone and tissue regeneration, orthodontics, implantology, laser dentistry and geriatric care. She has served on the faculties of the College of Dental Medicine at Nova-Southeastern University, as well as the University of Miami’s post-doctoral program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Advanced General Dentistry. Dr. Witkoff currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the faculty of the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education (FLIADE). Dr. Witkoff also has served in leadership capacities in the Florida Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Society, and is a past-President of the Riviera Dental Study Club. Dr. Witkoff believes that service to community is an essential ingredient of the profession. For more than 15 years she has donated her time to the Community Smiles non-profit organization, Florida’s oldest and largest charity dental clinic providing comprehensive care for indigent patients. She has served as Chairman of the organization’s Board of Directors on two separate occasions.
