About Shari T. Leavitt, DMD
Dr. Leavitt practices comprehensive general dentistry in Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She also holds a BS in Psychology from Syracuse University. Dr. Leavitt continues her education by attending seminars, to keep up to date with the newest advances in dentistry and to provide the highest quality of treatment to patients. Dr. Leavitt is a certified Invisalign® Provider. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Philadelphia County Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Leavitt’s approach to dentistry is an extremely compassionate one. Her emphasis is to educate each patient about their diagnosis, and then to present multiple options to accomplish the treatment goal. Dr. Leavitt enjoys teaching and takes the time to mentor students interested in a career in dentistry. Dental students continue their training by observing Dr. Leavitt in the office while dental assistants are able to complete the needed requirements for their graduation. When not in the office, Dr. Leavitt enjoys tennis, yoga, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia.
