About Seth A. Eberlin, MD

Dr. Seth Eberlin is a plastic surgeon trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and burn surgery.Dr. Eberlin’s path to the operating room started early. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of two teachers. Through them he learned the importance of hard work, knowledge and perseverance. As a young teenager, he was accepted to St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute where his interest in medicine grew. During his time there, Dr. Eberlin had the opportunity to shadow multiple surgeons in various specialities, but was most inspired and intrigued by plastic surgery. After graduating from St. Joe’s, he matriculated to Yale University, where he was a four year member of the Heavyweight Rowing Team. In addition to his athletic commitments, Dr. Eberlin continued his pre-medical path by obtaining a Bachelor’s of Arts in the History of Science and Medicine, completing his senior thesis on the history of facial reconstruction and rhinoplasty. eberlinpicAlways a proud Yalie, Dr. Eberlin moved to the west coast to attend the prestigious USC Keck School of Medicine. From there he earned a coveted integrated residency position at the USC Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Throughout the course of his residency training, Dr. Eberlin had the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the foremost experts in facial cosmetics, body contouring and breast surgery in a variety of hospitals and settings. Dr. Eberlin also presented at national conferences and published multiple journal articles over the past years. Combining his knowledge of the most cutting edge procedures and techniques with a sharp eye for aesthetics, Dr. Eberlin is able to provide the best care to his patients. Additionally, Dr. Eberlin values the importance of understanding and developing a personal, collaborative relationship with each patient. Starting from the first consultation, he will listen to your concerns and work with you to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses each one. His ability to connect with and hear the needs of his patients, his bedside manner and his results have garnered him praise from his patients, mentors and fellow colleagues. Being a physician is a responsibility Dr. Eberlin does not take lightly and he would love to share that with you.
