About Savanah Moore, Tattoo Specialist
I'm originally from a small town about 2 1/2 hours from St. Louis called Marshall, IL (it's near Terre Haute, IN). I've now been in the St. Louis area for 12 years. Again, time sure does fly! I've been married to my husband Jesse for 5 years, our anniversary is September 29th. He's a nurse in the cardiac ICU at Barnes and he's also rehabbing our big old house! He even occasionally cuts my hair when I need it! He's quite the guy let me tell you! We have two cats, Meika (calico) and Allie (long black fluff hair). I would have a whole house of cats if Jesse would let me! We love to eat, travel, and binge watch tv shows. I have four younger siblings who I adore. I'm super girly, but I LOVE cars and drag racing! I bet you wouldn't have guessed that one! I would say I'm an introverted extrovert. I can be super outgoing if I need to be, specifically for my job, but I prefer to spend my days off at home with Jesse and the cats in my cozy fleece cuddl duds (if you don't already own a pair of cuddl duds or know they are look them up and buy them! Like today!). I definitely like my alone time. My favorite color is purple and my birthday is February 10th. I'll be the big 30 this year! Thank you so much for stopping by to read about my story and passion for hair and makeup! Hi there! I am the owner and lead hair and makeup artist at Savanah Summer Luxury Hair + Makeup. I get asked a lot how I got into doing bridal hair and makeup and it all started by going to cosmetology at Paul Mitchell back in 2009. However, as a kid I remember sitting in the grass with scissors pretending to be cutting someone's hair. I had originally planned on being a nurse and studied at SIUE for three years before making the big decision to go to cosmetology school. Best decision I could have ever made! Do what feels right and do what you love and everything will work out! 2018 is my sixth year being in business for myself. Time sure does fly! I couldn't think of anything else I could be doing. It's been more work than I had ever expected and has definitely been challenging at times, but it has also been THE most rewarding thing I have ever done in my lifetime!
