About Sanjeevan Virk, DMD
Dr. Virk obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D.) from Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine and is a practicing dentist since 2008. Dr. Virk spent several more years gaining superlative expertise as a dentist. Continuing his interest in cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Virk in a short time gained the vast experience in latest innovation in advanced continuing education training in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, oral sedation, laser dentistry, root canal treatment and implant restorations. Dr. Virk has also completed his mini residency in dental sleep medicine which allows him to help his patients achieve a better night’s sleep without the use of a CPAP machine. Dr. Virk’s commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow. Dr. Virk’s main priority is to provide personalized, comfortable, enjoyable and pain-free dental care. At each appointment, he devotes his time solely to you, listening to your concerns and answering any questions you may have. He is also committed to educating his patients about proper oral hygiene habits and preventive dental care for long-term oral health. So, ever passionate for new horizons, in 2013, he founded Apple Dental in Meriden, CT. Unsurprisingly, the clinic achieved instant success as well as a tremendous retinue of patients, admirers and professional interests. In his personal life, Dr. Virk is married to Dr. Kanchan Thind, a graduate of Boston University, who is also a general dentist at Apple Dental and is a proud parent of two lovely children Kesar and Saara who are active member of the Southington, Connecticut community. Outside of his devotion to his family, Dr. Virk is an avid hiker, runner and also loves playing golf. Dr. Virk has many concerns and passions in life. Besides being a loving husband and devoted father and serving family and friends, he is deeply committed to his dental practice as well as to helping others.
