About Samer S. Alassaad, DDS
With a great passion for the art and science of dentistry, Dr. Samer Alassaad has been providing his patients the best modern dentistry can offer and creating lasting relationships with his patients and the Davis community for the past 17 years. He has been inducted as fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, fellow in the American College of Dentists, fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy due to his knowledge, experience, and contributions to dentistry and his community. Dr. Alassaad has been featured in peer-reviewed national dental journals and clinical magazines about various topics of general dentistry. He also writes oral health articles in the Davis Enterprise newspaper. Dr. Alassaad has lectured at the California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, and various local study groups about the early diagnosis and treatment of asymptomatic cracked teeth. He currently serves as the president of the California Academy of General Dentistry, serves on the committee that authors the fellowship examination of the Academy of General Dentistry, and on the Yolo County Oral Health Advisory committee. Dr. Alassaad maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society. He’s been living in Davis for 19 years and, along with his wife and 2 young daughters, enjoys being a member of this community. He is a Davis Rotarian, and served as first president of the photography club of Davis and taught photography at UCD Extension-OLLI.
