About Salvatore M. Pizzino, DDS
Dr. Salvatore Pizzino, voted Best of the Gold Coast for Fairfield CT, has been treating patients in Fairfield County since 1995. Dr. Pizzino is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, and completed a chief residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is now a clinical attending physician. Dr. Pizzino has received a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as in orthodontics and implant dentistry. In 2007 Dr. Pizzino co-directed dental implant seminars at NYU and has been an Invisalign Premier Provider since 2009, as well as an Invisalign guest lecturer. In addition to being former president of the Bridgeport Dental Association, Dr. Pizzino serves on the CT State Dental Association Board of Peer Review, is a member and fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Functional Orthodontics, the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a member of the American Dental Association (ADA). In 2013 Dr. Pizzino was awarded Top Dentist in General Dentistry in the Best of the Connecticut Gold Coast awards. These awards highlight the top dentists in Fairfield County, all recommended by peers in the field who know their work best. Dr. Pizzino was recommended in the General Dentistry category for his ability to help people in every discipline in dentistry, from checkups to tooth pain, emergencies, and more.
