About Rita S. Platt, DDS
Rita Salvi Platt, DDS, the owner of Healthy Smiles, was born in Highland Park, IL. She is married and has four children. She’s been in dentistry for over 28 years, and has been practicing at the present location since December 2000. Dr. Platt began training for her professional career at Marquette University and received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene in 1988. In 1992 she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loyola Dental School. She continues to stay up to date with the latest in dental technology, attending continuing education courses throughout the year. She’s currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the General Dentist Academy. Dr. Platt feels that the patient should always come first. She makes her patients feel comfortable by providing quality care and speaking to them in language they understand, putting them in control of their oral health. Her commitment to serving the Lakeview community is exemplified further by her support of numerous organizations including the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club, numerous local churches and schools, including St. Andrews and St. Benedicts Parishes and Sacred Heart and Blaine Schools.
