About Richard A. Stone, MD
Dr. Richard A. Stone Is board certified in dermatology. He completed his undergraduate work at Western Michigan University and both his Medical School and residency at Wayne State University. He enjoys seeing new patients and continuing the relationship with the patients and families that have been coming to the practice through its sixty year history. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work in the community. In addition to serving his community Dr. Stone served his country as Major General in the United States Army Reserves. His assignments included serving as Deputy Surgeon General, service in Afghanistan as the Medical Task Force Commander, key assignments as Commander of Army Medical Training Command and various Combat Support Medical Units. As a Major General, Dr. Stone has lectured both locally and nationally on the, “War on Terror” and lectured at the Army War College where he was previously awarded a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies. Dr. Stone continue to be involved as a consultant in support of military and other federal healthcare systems.
