About Richard S. Lim, DDS
Dr. Richard Lim was born in Staten Island, NY, raised in Carmel, IN, and resides in Loma Linda, CA. He has been interested in dentistry since he was a young child. He has collectively worked in the field of dentistry for over 15 years: from working in the lab, to working as an assistant for various doctors, to working as a providing dentist. After practicing in Temecula for a few years, Dr. Lim purchased the practice of Dr. Marvin Ota in 2016. He graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Religion, Cum Laude. He also holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He stays up to date with the latest technological advances in dentistry by taking many continuing education hours of instruction. Dr. Lim was the recipient of the Christ Like Service Award in Dentistry. He has served and mentored students on multiple mission trips to Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, the Philippines, and Haiti and he continues serving overseas on an annual basis. Dr. Lim is an active musician and is often found conducting and singing with various choirs and is a vocal soloist in churches and weddings throughout the Inland Empire. He was recently in the Redlands Bowl’s production of “Beauty and the Beast.” He enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and roots for his hometown Colts and Pacers. His brother is also a dentist who practices in Riverside. Dr. Lim looks forward to meeting you and is excited to help you achieve your signature smile.
