About Richard F. Koup, DMD
Dr. Rick Koup is a native of Paoli and a graduate of Great Valley High School and Ursinus College. Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1974, he joined the United States Air Force, treating both active-duty and retired service men and women through 1977. Returning home to Paoli after honorable discharge from the Air Force, Dr. Koup opened his private practice on Paoli Pike. Very soon after, he started his faculty affiliation with Penn Dental, an affiliation that continued through the early 2000’s. When not treating his dental family (some of whom have been with him for 40+ years), Dr. Rick enjoys travel and his grandchildren. He is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
