About Richard O. Cavallaro, DDS
Dr. Richard O. Cavallaro earned his B.A. in zoology from Fresno State College, and pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of California at San Francisco. He served as a dentist in the U.S. Army for two years and has been practicing in the Lemon Grove area for over 30 years. Dr. Cavallaro continues his dental education on a regular basis, consistently achieving 3-4 times more continued dental education than the state requirements. He has been a member of the San Diego Advanced Study Group for more than 12 years. Dr. Cavallaro is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association. He is a Fellow for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and has been awarded the Health Care Champion Award from a local dental society. As a dentist, Dr. Cavallaro’s goal is to assist all of his patients in achieving optimal dental health – both in function and appearance – through modern treatments that are cost-effective, holistic, and as comfortable as possible. He is committed to helping all his patients enjoy healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Cavallaro and his wife have three children and six grandchildren.
