About Ramin Ghassemi, DDS
Ramin Ghassemi, DDS, MS, is one of the skilled dentists at Fifth Avenue Dental Arts, located in San Diego, California. Dr. Ghassemi specializes in periodontics, implantology, correcting gummy smiles, extracting wisdom teeth, and performing full-mouth reconstructions. Dr. Ghassemi earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Brussels in Brussels, Belgium. He later earned his master’s in periodontology at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. After completing his degrees, Dr. Ghassemi moved to Los Angeles, California, to complete his internships and postdoctoral work at the University of Southern California. Dr. Ghassemi is passionate about his work and has done extensive, groundbreaking research on how to use computer technology to diagnose periodontal disease. He has also published numerous articles in the Journal of Periodontology and lectures worldwide.
