About Rachel Farley-Loftus, MD
Rachel Farley-Loftus, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then received her Medical Degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and was the recipient of the Albert B. Knapp Scholarship for Highest Academic Achievement. Dr. Farley-Loftus completed her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and her dermatology residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, where she subsequently joined the faculty and supervised dermatology residents in the Skin and Cancer Unit. She has published many manuscripts in peer reviewed medical journals. Dr. Farley-Loftus is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the attending staff at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, N.J. She specializes in general dermatology for adults and children in Livingston, NJ, with particular interests in the treatment of acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin cancer screening and treatment, Botox and dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Belotero. Raised in New Jersey in Essex and Monmouth Counties, Dr. Farley-Loftus now resides in Glen Ridge with her husband and two children. In addition to serving her local community, she enjoys running, gardening, and the occasional friendly tennis match.
