About Qing M. Chen, DMD
A gifted dentist and true perfectionist, Dr. Chen is known for her gentle touch, caring manner and attention to detail. Her broad clinical repertoire includes crowns, bridges, root canals, implants, periodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, allowing patients and their families to meet their needs in-office. She demonstrates exceptional skill and technique, able to achieve the best results for a beautiful and healthy smile, while providing a smooth and painless experience to her patients. Dr. Chen’s care philosophy is to treat patients as she would her own family members. At each appointment, patients can feel that she genuinely cares about her patients and their health. She takes the time to explain and communicate with her patients at every stage of treatment, and works hard to provide the highest standard of dental care. Many patients comment on her dedication and passion for dentistry. Dr. Chen earned her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2001 and her PhD in Pharmacology in 1996 from the University of Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Chen also has a medical degree from Nanchang University Medical School in China. She has participated in numerous dental conferences and courses worldwide in order to incorporate the newest technologies and leading advances in dentistry into her practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), North Carolina Dental Association, Charlotte Dental Association and American Association of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Chen is a partner of Nobel Biocare, one of the world’s largest dental implant companies. In her leisure time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, swimming, and reading dental and health magazines.
