About Piyuse R. Das, DDS
Dr. Das earned his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1996 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas in Austin. Prior to entering private practice, he completed a general practice residency in at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. He followed up his training by earning a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at the University of Southern Illinois. He is a current member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Das founded Clear Lake Dental Care in 2000 when he moved back to Houston. His primary focus is comprehensive reconstructive and implant dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetics. Dr. Das uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive dentistry in a single location. Additionally, he has taught and successfully taken numerous postgraduate education courses. Dr. Das’s commitment to lifelong education ensures his patients get the highest level of care. Also, Dr. Das enjoys mentoring younger dentists in various aspects of sedation and implant dentistry. Dr. Das is married and has two children. Other than being a foodie, he loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker and mountain climber. He and his wife have provided volunteer medical and dental care in Nepal and Mexico and hope to involve their children in international volunteer work in the future.
