About Phillip M. Milgram, MD

Phillip Milgram MD is dedicated his life to the service of others and is first: a patient advocate. He is a member of the attending staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. He promotes Integrative Medicine and the early diagnosis of disease in his patients; and in the education of others. His “Ten Suggestions-Medicine to a Higher Level” are widely quoted. He is a practitioner of what he calls “Enlightened Medicine”; using all the evidence-based knowledge—Eastern/Western, Ancient/Future, evolving Technology, Allopathic and Alternative Medicine; in patient care. He believes in the early detection of disease and providing the body with what it requires to heal itself. He is Board Certified in Ob/Gyn and re-certified in 2012, a Certified Prevention Specialist and member of many groups and societies. Dr. Milgram founded A Lady’s Doctor Medical Clinic in 1980, the Southern California LASER Surgery Institute (now Head to Toe Laser) in 1984, Anti-Aging San Diego in 2004 He also is co-founder of The Society for Integrative Age Management Medicine (SIAMM), and is a member of the Society for Improving Diagnosis in Medicine. He was the medical editor of a website dedicated to scrutiny of the value of representations of nutritional supplements and alternative medicine therapies, and is a medical consultant for Infinite Vitality. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Instructor at the UCSD Medical Center, and has taught over 200 seminars in LASER and advanced surgical techniques, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, prevention, and nutrition. In this capacity, Dr. Milgram was employed by many prominent surgical product manufacturers to teach utilization of advanced surgical instrumentation, and was on the faculty at the Houston Laser Institute. He has three Counseling degrees from UCSD.He is the Medical Director of the Soledad House women’s recovery home, and the President of the San Diego Chapter of SoPE, the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs.
