About Peter Farmer, DDS
Dr. Peter Farmer was born in Frankfurt, Germany. He attended the Gymnasium in Bad Nauheim, studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and completed college at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He then attended University of California, San Francisco, where he graduated from the School of Dentistry in 1998. Peter is a third-generation dentist. He carries on the tradition of quality dental care that his grandmother and grandfather, both dentists in Germany, began over 90 years ago. His mother, also a dentist, passed on the passion for beautiful teeth to him. Peter completed a general practice residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. After he expanded his skills in hospital dentistry for one year, he pursued his German dental license and the Oregon dental license. Returning to San Francisco in 2000, Peter worked for other dental offices in the Bay Area. He then started planning his own office to establish a practice primarily devoted to comprehensive dentistry, with an emphasis on esthetics, function, and conservation and preservation of teeth for a lifetime.
