About Paymon Rahgozar
Paymon Rahgozar, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF. He received his Bachelor's of Science at UCLA followed by a Medical Degree at Washington University in St. Louis. After graduation from medical school he pursued a full training in General Surgery at UCLA, where he also spent a dedicated year of research investigating the immunogenicity of scaffolds for surgical implantation. He subsequently completed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at University of Southern California where he received a broad training in reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. Dr. Rahgozar further completed an additional year of training dedicated to hand surgery at the University of Michigan under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Chung.
