About Patrick Mccleskey, MD
After working for twelve years in the Air Force, I was looking for a similar place to practice general dermatology in a collaborative setting. Since I was a Kaiser Permanente member as a child in Georgia, it seemed natural to look to Kaiser Permanente for my next home. I’m so happy to be part of this healthcare team. My practice philosophy is that you are in charge of your health care. We are here to provide you the best information possible, but your preferences are an important part of decision-making. Much of my research has been devoted to teaching other doctors and medical students about dermatology, culminating in the American Academy of Dermatology’s Medical Student Core Curriculum, which provides free dermatology education for health care providers who want to learn more about common skin problems. I love to take advantage of northern California’s bounty, especially good food, wine, art, dance, film, and the celebration of life and freedom that makes the Bay Area unique. My goal is to provide the best care I can so that my patients can be their best selves and do the things that bring them joy.
