About Nour Abboushi
Dr. Nour Abboushi graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in both biology and chemistry from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He then pursued two years of research in transplant immunology that resulted in a Masters Degree in biochemistry and multiple scientific publications in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Abboushi completed his general surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. With a particular interest in patient safety, Dr. Abboushi has devoted much time to developing parameters for improved care during facial rejuvenation procedures. As a result of his efforts, he was recognized with the distinguished Gaspar W. Anastasi Award for Best Scientific Paper at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons during 2011′s meeting in Boston. Dr. Abboushi has broad interests in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He is particularly interested in all facets of breast reconstruction, as well as facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring procedures for those patients who have experienced massive weight loss.
