About Niloofar Behzadi-Shannon, DDS
Niloofar Behzadi-Shannon, Known as “Dr. Niloo” by her patients, completed undergraduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at California State University Northridge. She worked as a Research Assistant in Molecular Cytogenetics for 3 years prior to attending dental school at the University of Southern California, where she received her DDS degree in 1999. Dr. Niloo graduated among the top of her class, achieving membership in OKU, the national dental honor society. Being a self-motivated and lifelong learner, she is committed to continual education and staying informed of the latest advances in dental technology and procedures. Her philosophy is to provide quality, and minimally invasive dentistry with artistry and care. She believes in educating her patients, listening to their individual needs, and assisting them in reaching their optimal oral health. Dr Niloo practiced in Los Angeles area prior to relocating to San Diego in 2010. She and her husband John are active in the community and enjoy yoga, gardening, and the natural beauty of San Diego.
