About Nandi Wijay, MD
Dr. Nandi Wijay was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Clear Lake High School and the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a bachelor of science in biochemistry. Dr. Wijay attended medical school and was then accepted to a six year integrated plastic surgery residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Throughout his six-year residency, Dr. Wijay trained at multiple prestigious hospitals in the Houston area, including UTMB Galveston/League City, Shriners Hospital for Children Galveston/Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and multiple community aesthetic practices. During his training, Dr. Wijay developed a special interest in aesthetic surgery, massive weight loss reconstruction, and breast reconstruction and performed over 1000 cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Wijay is a person centered, compassionate surgeon who understands that plastic surgery can be a positive life-changing experience. Whether it’s reconstruction after massive weight loss, breast reconstruction after cancer, or a cosmetic makeover following pregnancy and childbirth, Dr. Wijay will take the time to understand each person’s situation and tailor his approach to meet the special needs of each patient. Dr. Wijay’s core values as a plastic surgeon are patient care, safety, and satisfaction. Dr. Wijay met his wife, Dr. Danielle Andry, while in medical school. During residency they were blessed with a beautiful daughter and are happy to make Texas their home. Dr. Wijay loves being a plastic surgeon in Houston, Texas and is humbled by the opportunity to care for the people of the city that he grew up in and calls home.
