About Nancy H. Kim, MD
Dr. Kim began her career at Harvard University where she graduated with cum laude honors. She received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated Valedictorian of her class. Dr. Kim then went on to complete a rigorous three-year residency in dermatology at one of the top dermatology programs in the country, the University of Miami, where she was honored to be selected as chief resident and received the George Ioannides Award given for Excellence in Resident Dermatologic Teaching. After this, she completed a highly coveted, year-long fellowship at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in Mohs surgery, lasers and cosmetic surgery. At UCSF, she trained with many of the world’s most renowned dermatologists considered to be pioneers in the field of lasers and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Kim has authored extensively on various topics in the field of dermatology and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Dermatologic Surgery, Archives of Dermatology, The Melanoma Letter, and Expert Reviews in Dermatology. She has been invited and given multiple lectures at the national level at the American Academy of Dermatology national meeting. As well, she has authored or co-authored several book chapters on skin cancer and diagnosis of skin cancer. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Board certified in Dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs skin cancer surgery, Dr. Nancy Kim is a former Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona. With her extensive training, Dr. Kim is committed to providing the highest quality of dermatologic care to her patients, utilizing the most recent medical and surgical advances in a warm and compassionate environment. Her philosophy is to be actively engaged and dedicated to delivering her vision to her patients. Dr. Kim is recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, reading, cooking, swimming, and running.
