About Nadia K. Mostovych, MD
Dr. Nadia Mostovych is a board certified, fellowship trained, head and neck surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgical and non-surgical procedures for the face and neck. Her compassion, advanced training, and extensive experience have earned her a reputation for providing outstanding patient care and results. Dr. Mostovych is dedicated to understanding her patient’s goals and concerns and works to develop a comprehensive, personalized treatment plan that best suits their needs and lifestyle. She strives to help patients achieve a natural and refreshed appearance, with long-lasting results that lead to greater confidence, vitality, and overall wellness. Dr. Mostovych earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed a rigorous internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During this time, Dr. Mostovych gained first-class expertise in facial anatomy, diseases of the head and neck, and developed a unique understanding of the form and function of the face. She was deeply inspired by the transformative power of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and the profound lifelong physical and emotional impact it can provide for patients. She then went on to pursue advanced training in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and was selected for the prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Devinder S. Mangat, M.D., an internationally recognized leader in facial plastic surgery. During her fellowship, Dr. Mostovych honed her skills in the latest and most advanced techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery. Dr. Mostovych is passionate about contributing to the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. She has authored numerous publications and been invited to speak at national scientific meetings on the topics of rhinoplasty and skin cancer reconstruction. She is currently writing a textbook chapter on face and neck lift surgery. She is dedicated to helping underserved communities and has served in medical and surgical missions to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Belize. She is the recipient of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation Humanitarian Travel Award. In 2017 and 2018 she traveled with Partners for Belize to Corozal, Belize where she performed numerous surgeries to treat skin cancer, congenital masses, cleft lip and palate deformities, microtia (malformation of the ear), nasal trauma and obstruction, and traumatic scars and keloids. Dr. Mostovych was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is a second-generation Ukrainian-American and is fluent in Ukrainian. In her free time, Dr. Mostovych enjoys yoga, hiking, sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, skiing, traveling, photography, and spending time with her husband and golden doodle.
