About Monica Bulay, DDS
Dr. Monica is a native of New Jersey, and she moved to Maryland to attend Loyola University. She worked for a year as a dental assistant after college and attended the University of Maryland Dental School, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After dental school, she completed a residency in general dentistry at the WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Monica is passionate about community service and has participated in several dental volunteer projects, including Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care to low income residents, and Sealant Saturdays, providing exams and sealants for children. She was a dental provider for Helping Up Mission and Smiles for Success, programs designed to help transform smiles for men and women recovering from abuse or addiction as a way to aid them in job-readiness. She also participated in an international mission trip to Tanzania, Africa, providing treatment to students and staff of the Faraja Primary School. Dr. Monica has a fun-loving personality and calm demeanor that helps to make patients feel at ease during dental procedures. She lives in Federal Hill with her husband Mark, both avid runners. You might see them around the neighborhood running or playing flag football and volleyball.
