About Mirta D. Caminero, MD
The American Health Council recently selected Mirta D. Caminero, MD to its Board of Physicians for her outstanding contributions to the medical field. Owner of MC Dermatology in Miami, Fla., Dr. Caminero treats patients from adolescent to adulthood with their dermatology needs. While she has held her current role for 10 years, she has spent the last 37 years in the healthcare industry expanding her skills and expertise in dermatology, medicine and patient care. Dr. Caminero’s interest in the medical field led her to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. She enrolled at the National University of La Plata in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1980. Although she has specific experience with pediatric dermatology, Dr. Caminero extends her skills to patients of all age groups. After spending many years practicing at various locations, she founded her private practice over 10 years ago in Florida. She creates a warm environment that allows her patients to be comfortable while they receive their services. The goal of her practice is to provide high-quality care to each patient who seeks help. Proud to be able to allow others to feel comfortable in their own skin, Dr. Caminero continues to provide the best services to her patients. She loves having the ability to help others and prides herself on her strong communication skills. Her work ethic and efforts earned her induction into the American Academy of Dermatology, one of the largest organizations of dermatologists in the country. She volunteers through the organization and continues to share her own experiences and knowledge with fellow members.
