About Miriam S. Singer, MD
Dr. Miriam S. Singer is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general adult and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Singer treats a wide variety of skin disorders, including infections, acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, allergic rashes, skin cancers, as well as other, less common conditions. She enjoys connecting to and caring for patients of all ages. She believes in empowering her patients to make informed choices about their health care. In addition to her practice with the Dermatology Physicians of Dallas, Dr. Singer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Singer completed her dermatology residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Chicago and completed a fellowship year in biochemistry at Cambridge University in England. She then entered the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Chicago, where she received many accolades, including the Dr. Harold Lampert Biomedical Research Award for Best Dissertation in Biomedical Research and the award for Outstanding Achievement in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology. Dr. Singer graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Singer is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She and her husband live in Dallas and have five children. She enjoys hiking and running, and treasures spending time with family and friends. Dr. Singer has been chosen as one of the Best Doctors in Dallas by D Magazine in 2013, 2016, and 2017.
