About Michelle Lalonde, Aesthetician Specialist
I became an esthetician because I wanted a career where I could be proud of the fact that I was helping people feel better about themselves. As an esthatician, I have the ability to help so many different kinds of people, from teenagers suffering from embarrassing acne to "people of a certain age" who want to look as young as they still feel. Everyone who has been through a bad hair day knows how self conscious it can make you. But the next day, you wash and dry your hair again and it's fine. Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a bad skin day. Without proper treatment bad skin can last weeks, months, even years and can put a huge dent in self confidence. The condition of the skin is front and center when ever anyone looks at a person and is part of the very important first impression. With proper care, both in the treatment room and at home, that first impression can be a more positive one.
