About Michele A. Manahan, MD
Dr. Michele A. Manahan is an assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the breasts, face, abdomen and extremities. Dr. Manahan is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated as valedictorian from Norcross High School. She attended Harvard University and graduated in three years, obtaining summa cum laude honors. She was also elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and an Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society. Dr. Manahan earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins. She serves in national leadership positions in medical organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and state leadership positions in medical organizations such as MedChi as well as vice speaker in the Maryland State Medical Association House of Delegates. She is also a member of the Baltimore City Medical Board of Trustees.
