About Michael Rathmell, DDS
Dr. Michael Rathmell, DDS is the guiding hand behind South Austin Dental Studio. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he excelled at the Baylor College of Dentistry and started practicing in 1979. He opened this very office in 1985 and has earned a reputation for honesty and reliability in the community. After 30 years he’s still giving all of us the same great care, and we give him our trust. Dr. Rathmell is married to his wife Karen and has twin sons, Brett and Cody. He enjoys fishing, hunting, NASCAR racing, and especially music, where he sometimes travels with his son’s band, The Cody Bryan Band. He also aspires to be a gourmet chef.
