About Michael H. Manning, MD
Dr. Michael Manning is a recognized leader in the fields of cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and cosmetic eyelid surgery. In addition to his leadership of Gulfcoast Eye Care, Dr. Manning is the primary cataract and refractive lens surgeon for the TLC Laser Eye Center in Florida. Dr. Manning has devoted his career to helping people overcome debilitating eye conditions and significantly improve their vision. He specializes in a full range of cataract and lens replacement surgery procedures, as well as laser vision correction options such as all-laser LASIK. Dr. Manning graduated as valedictorian of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and subsequently attended Rollins College. He majored in Chemistry and obtained his BA through the Honors Degree Program. Dr. Manning later earned his MD at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship Year at that same institution, followed by his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. During his training, Dr. Manning earned the position of Chief Resident.
