About Michael E. Hughes, DMD
Michael E. Hughes DMD, MS, is the son of Dr. Hughes. He is a graduate of Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While working as a dental assistant in Dr. Hughes’ office, Michael went on to receive his Masters Degree in Biology from West Chester University. In May of 2011, he graduated summa cum laude from Temple University School of Dentistry. Michael was selected to be a member of the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and was awarded, by a vote of the faculty, the Dr. Benjamin Homer Award. This award is given to the graduating dental student who most exhibits the qualities of scholastic excellence, integrity and civility. A member of the International Dental Implant Association, Dr. M. Hughes has completed over 120 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, and is a fellow of the IDIA. He is certified in Invisalign® and has been a Preferred Provider since 2012. Dr. M. Hughes is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Dental Associations. He and his wife Lauren are both from Chester County and are happy to be living in the area once again with their sons, Jack and Jamie.
