About Michael A. Chusid, DMD
Michael A. Chusid, DMD, has been providing dental care to West Orange, NJ, and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. He values education and the need for passing on key learnings to patients and colleagues. Dr. Chusid is one of the few dentists in the area that is trained to perform the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique. This is a breakthrough treatment for gum recession. Dr. Chusid is also highly trained in both conventional crown and bridge techniques and dental implant technology. Dr. Chusid is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine of New Jersey. With his specialization in cosmetic techniques, such as porcelain veneers, he taught in the post-graduate residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Chusid is certified through the State of New York’s Enteral Conscious Sedation division. He is also on staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Chusid maintains memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Essex County Dental Association, Newark Dental Club, and numerous other local and national professional societies.
