About Michael Churukian
Living in Southern California since 1953, Dr. Churukian serves as a Medical Director at tining at the L.A. County U.S.C. Medical center in Neurosurgery then on to the University of Hawaii Integrated Surgical Program for training in General Surgery. These two years included rotations through a range of surgical subspecialties. He returned to L.A. County-U.S.C. to complete a residency in Otolaryngologhe Camden Surgery Center of Beverly Hills, Inc. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California, then with honors from the U.S.C. School of Medicine. He began his post-graduate tray/Head and Neck Surgery and received board certification overall in the upper 10% and in the upper 3% of the section of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1980. He then went on to complete a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 1981 with Dr. Frank Kamer. He served as Assistant Medical Director at the Lasky Clinic from 1982 until 1993 when he became a founding member of the Camden Aesthetic Associates. Dr. Churukian became certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in 1991. Dr. Churukian's clinical research has resulted in multiple chapters written for medical textbooks as well as papers published in medical journals and oral presentations to academic and scientific professional asociations.
