About Megan M. Moore, MD
I became board-certified in dermatology in 2007 and began practicing at Kaiser Permanente in 2008. My relationship with Kaiser Permanente goes back many years -- I was born in a Kaiser Permanente hospital and volunteered at Kaiser Permanente, Walnut Creek as a candy striper during high school! After growing up in the East Bay I headed to the Northeast for college, medical school, and my residency training. I enjoy medical dermatology and consultative dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and autoimmune diseases, and I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages. Meeting the many people from all different backgrounds and perspectives with whom I interact each day is the best part of my job. I have interests in epidemiology and public health, including the prevention of skin diseases and the practice of patient-oriented, evidence-based dermatology.
