About Matthew Free, DMD
Dr. Matthew Free believes in creating a warm and laid back dental visit while offering high quality care. Dr. Free completed his dental training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Free is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is on track to receive the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Free is also a past member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Free has a passion for lifelong learning and spends many of his weekends seeking out continued education in order to provide the very best care for his patients. While completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Free fell in love with a Northern Michigan girl and upon visiting Northern Michigan for the first time, fell in love with the area too! Dr. Free is excited to call Northern Michigan home. Dr. Free is married to his wife, Caitlin. They have a 1 year old boy named Graham and a 2 year old golden retriever name Juno. When Dr. Free isn't caring for his patients or attending dental seminars, he is enjoys spending time with his family, any and all water sports, hiking, traveling, and enjoying all of the wonderful outdoor activities Northern Michigan provides!
