About Maryam E. Khakpour, DDS
Dr. Maryam E. Khakpour has dedicated her professional life to making people look younger, feel better about themselves, and give them greater confidence. Dr. Khakpour knew she wanted to become a Dentist at the young age of 14. She chose to study dentistry because she became very passionate that people should never be in pain. This belief runs through everything Dr. Khakpour does as a dentist for her patients, and how her team takes care of you. She uses the latest pain-free technology to enhance and restore patients' smiles, and takes time to empower them with the knowledge about the major difference that great oral health can make in their lives. After Graduating from the prestigious University of Shiraz School of Dentistry in 1989, Dr. K continued her education receiving her degree in California in 2007. She is one of only a few Doctors who are credentialed by the D.O.C.S (Dental Oral Sedation Academy) which is the most important international academy for sedation and anxiety-free dentistry. Dr. K is extremely passionate about her work and has completed many hours of continuing education with the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. K has lived in the Bay Area for 10 years now. She resides in her home in Walnut Creek with her husband and their 2 daughters. Dr. K enjoys traveling, exercising, dancing, and is very active in both her daughters school life.
