Mary Fernandez joined Jennifer Swink, owner of Celebrity Skin, in 2017. Celebrity Skin incorporates an integrative approach to achieving beautiful skin requiring a unique skill set and background, not just any skin care professional can provide. And Mary is just the gal for the job! Mary utilizes clinical skin care treatments and products while incorporating complementary treatment modalities such as dietary and lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve beautiful, healthy skin. She also integrates the behavioral, physiological and social aspects of each client’s personal needs. You might say “what does that have to do with my skin?” Great results can be achieved by clinical skincare alone, for sure. However, it is sometimes necessary to consider other factors like budget (we don’t send a client home with $800 in products/$500 monthly services if cost is prohibitive). No joke, this happens in our industry all the time! Another factor may be simplicity (we don’t send someone home with 7 different skin care products both am & pm if they are only accustomed to washing their face). Another factor could be what you do for a living (we don’t recommend a peel that makes you look like you are “under construction” if you have a job that would not appreciate you looking like a lizard). This does not mean you shouldn’t step up your game for better skin, but we also understand that reality exists, change can be a process, and not everyone gets to their results precisely the same way. Mary will help you succeed in achieving the skin you love and feel confident in. With over 30 years experience in the health and wellness industry including beauty, bodywork, and counseling, Mary’s background is a nothing short of a perfect fit. She is professional, compassionate and has an outstanding work ethic.
