About Marla Yee, DDS
Dr. Yee hails from Kingston, Jamaica. She graduated from Haverford College, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. After completing her undergraduate education, she worked as a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania investigating immuno-therapies for breast cancer. After spending several years in Philadelphia, Dr. Yee moved to Baltimore to begin her dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While pursuing her DDS degree, Dr. Yee also completed a Master in Public Health concentrating in community and population health. Dr. Yee also has extensive research experience in cultural competence and minority health. Upon graduating, she went on to complete a rigorous General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn where she received specialized training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Yee is also Invisalign certified. During her spare time, Dr. Yee enjoys baking, yoga and crafting.
