About Mark J. Williamson, DDS

Dr. Williamson grew up in Plano, just outside of Dallas. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas in Austin, followed by his master’s degree earned at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Upon completion of his master’s degree, Dr. Williamson went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and graduated with the highest honors. While in dental school, Dr. Williamson obtained a special recognition in general and oral pathology, operative dentistry, pharmacology, and fixed prosthodontics. After dental school, he completed a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in San Antonio. During his residency, he honed his skills in implant dentistry, hard and soft tissue grafting, wisdom tooth extractions, full-mouth rehabilitation, and all sedation modalities, including IV sedation. Dr. Williamson is a proud member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, International Team for Implantology, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Williamson biking the Leon Creek Greenway with his wife and two children.
