About Mark I. Taira, DDS
Dr. Taira has been providing his patients with exceptional comprehensive dental care. Dr. Taira earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in 1985.A Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists, Dr. Taira knows it is important to stay attuned to the ever changing treatment modalities and trends in dentistry. He also maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Japanese-American Dental Society and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society to keep current on the latest techniques and technologies.When he's not working, Dr. Taira volunteers his time to several local organizations. He participates with the Friends of LACES, and he has also served as the Secretary of the California Dental Association (CDA) Foundation, Past-Trustee for the CDA, and Past-President of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. Dr. Taira currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Dentist's Insurance Company and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society as its Presidental Appointee. Dr. Taira also taught for 15 years at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
