Dr. Mark L. Smith is an internationally renowned expert in breast reconstruction and lymphatic surgery. As an innovator with over 20 years of experience performing complex microsurgical and implant based breast reconstructions, he has become a recognized leader in the field. Smith has recently moved his practice to Northwell Health System and now serves as System Vice-Chairman in the Department of Surgery and Director of Reconstructive Oncology for Northwell Health Cancer Institute. He is also Professor of Surgery at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
