About Mark Briskin, DDS
Dr. Mark Briskin has practiced dentistry since 1979. He opened his own practice in Ardsley in 1981. He earned his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Binghamton and his dental degree at Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr. Briskin's leadership and commitment to dentistry are evident through his involvement in national and local professional organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has completed the course series at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is an L.D. Pankey Institute alumnus. This latter distinction is very meaningful, as the L.D. Pankey Institute is a post-graduate institute devoted to promoting excellence in dentistry. Dr. Briskin's time at the Institute has included six continuums and a master's forum. Involvement in the above Institutes reflect a true dedication of oneself to refining the Art and Science of Dental Practice and taking one's knowledge and skill to the highest levels. Staying at the forefront of his field has always been a high priority to Dr. Briskin. He frequently attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest dental advancements in his field. He has completed more than 2000 hours of continuing education courses. He has been presented as a speaker before the International Congress of Dental Technicians and has been a featured speaker on a radio program discussing Dental Implant treatment. He has been certified in the placement of osseointegrated implant prosthetics since 1987. Dr. Briskin has also lectured to other dentists on occlusion. He is also a consultant to Dental Advisor, a ""consumer report-type"" periodical for dentists in which he evaluates clinical products.
