About Marita Piernock, Aesthetician Specialist
My name is Marita Piernock. I am a licensed massage therapist, cosmetologist, and esthetician. Prior to entering into the beauty and wellness industry, I was a dental assistant. When I wasn't in the dental office, I enjoyed part time work at a health and fitness center. Working up close and personal with people has always been comfortable and rewarding to me. My career path shifted when I ran into a friend who was attending school for massage therapy. I found myself fascinated and encouraged by our conversation, and decided to embark on a new career in massage myself. Upon graduating, I went to work for a chiropractor, which was also immensely rewarding. Once again, I felt a desire to expand my career and I enrolled in school for skincare. Growing up, as a teen, I had cystic acne, and was self-conscious of my appearance. That difficult experience inspired me to learn more about the skin and how to improve its condition to achieve the best possible results for my skin type and others. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I have had to change careers over the years. The way each part of my life evolved led me into a profession that I love and am passionate about.
