About Marina Gachet, Aesthetician Specialist
Marina Gachet was born in Argentina and has lived in Ecuador, France, and Italy. She has traveled extensively throughout South America, Asia, and Europe, learning from many teachers along the way. Always an entrepreneurial spirit, Marina would, as a child of seven, bake cookies with her grandma and sell them to her classmates at school. By the age of nineteen, she had been successful enough in her business ventures to buy her own home. Marina first considered studying massage when she would help ease the tension in one friend’s neck or another’s shoulders and they would rave about the healing power of her touch. She thought that if she learned various massage techniques she could help other people heal. While traveling in India, she went to a spa for a face massage. The masseuse called it Prayer Massage, after the shape of her hands while giving it. Marina was so taken with the lifting and rejuvenating power of the treatment that she stayed on to study and work at this spa for many months, learning the secrets of Indian Prayer Massage. Fast forward to today, Marina Gachet has extensive training in many treatment modalities. She has earned certificates from Calistoga Massage Therapy School in Calistoga, CA and Just Stay Healthy in San Jose, CA. She has over 1500 hours of U.S. training, and has been doing massage for ten years. Her interest in the “fountain of youth” effect of facial massage led her to study skin care and facial treatments, and she earned her Esthetician certification from Le Melange School in Napa, CA. Her studies there included advanced light therapy, microdermabrasion, waxing, massage, and healthy lifestyle training. After giving a face massage or skin care treatment, she loves seeing her clients look in the mirror and exclaim, “I don’t believe it! I look younger!” Marina looks forward to creating a customized treatment that will leave you relaxed, refreshed, and ready to face the world.
