About Marie E. Falcone, DMD
Dr. Marie Falcone is a Board Certified Prosthodontist. She was the first female board certified Prosthodontist in Fairfield County. She is also the first and only female to be the President of the CT section of the American College of Prosthodontics. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Barnard College, Dr. Falcone pursued her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While there, Dr. Falcone was given a full scholarship to complete her Masters in Bioethics. She graduated top ten in her dental class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Falcone then went on to specialize in the field of Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She trained under the world’s best faculty and obtained her Masters Degree in Dental Science with a focus on esthetics and dental shade matching. She is also involved in volunteer dental work and has travelled to Sitka, Alaska and Costa Rica to provide dental work for people in need. Dr. Falcone has a passion for delivering beautiful and functional dentistry, while making her patients feel calm and at ease. She is a perfectionist and is devoted to delivering an outstanding level of care for her patients. With her gentle touch and soothing chair side manner, Dr. Falcone can make even the most phobic patient comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Falcone was born and raised on Long Island and now enjoys residing in Fairfield County with her husband (Dr. Zapata) and their two adorable children. She enjoys cooking and baking, travelling and spending time with her family.
